I wish I learned this information before. We all felt this way, we were all tired. People in general need a better way to save money in this day and age, it’s all about impulse. People place so much energy in technology so I had to think of a way to combine all these elements together. With impulse spending there has to be the other side to it with impulse saving. Me and my friends take trips, parties, vacation, we wanna go to Brazil for the world cup, we have to make that a reality”.

Stage Momz: Entertainment Consulting with Children in Mind

With shows that we all know and love like Honey Boo Boo Child which emulates an entertaining mother/ daughter relationship of which the mom back-spins off the success and cuteness of her child to become famous… yeah America, we’ve seen it all. Toddlers and Tiaras, Kate Plus 8 and more. Pageant/ TV moms can display craziness and pass on pressure to some of these girls (and boys) which they shouldn’t handle just for a moment of fame. Is it the pressure of the parent or is it the dream of a child? This experience is supposed to be fun, exciting and fulfilling for kids. Teaching them the business side while allowing their parents to be just that, parents, and not turn into crazy, overwhelming and over exaggerated ones! *hand over face*

THIS is where a company I came across called StageMomz comes in! :)

Modern [Role] Model: Sabrina Aryadad

With the inclusion of Photo Shop and Instagram the world has spawned millions of makeshift models. Sure its fun to take pictures and get “likes” and compliments we all know and love but to call this a career takes determination, motivation, perseverance, and stamina that most of us ‘insta-models’ don’t possess: raw talent. This isn’t to deter you from taking new profile pics, rather its to show respect to the real models of 2012. As an example, I want to introduce you to a young, glamorous, energetic, loving and beautiful souled peer of ours and a best friend of mine, Sabrina Aryadad, living and making her dream come true.

Sabrina the Iranian and African American Lioness was born August 6, 1988 in Inglewood, CA where she later moved to Compton and spent her teen years in Cerritos. From a big family of 3 sisters and 3 brothers she knows the value of responsibility and making people proud. I recently caught up with her to discuss her love for fashion and modeling. Join me for an inside the mind sneak peak!

Before we get to know you, what’s going on with Sabrina right now?

Sabrina: Currently [I'm] modeling for Wünder Management off Sunset blvd in Hollywood & finishing my final semester at CSULB major in fashion merchandising as well as searching for a fashion internship needed for a final upper division course in order to graduate.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

Sabrina: In the future, I plan to sign with numerous agencies within the modeling/film industry nationally then internationally. I’m giving myself 4-5 yrs to get to what I feel is the peak of my career. After enough credibility & experience within the industry- I will consider my bachelors to coordinate or direct fashion events that focus primarily on marketing & promoting lines & brands.

I know you have a list of awesome things you’ve participated in but what would you name as your Top-5 participating events?

Sabrina: Top 5 things on my resume are (1)America’s Next Top Model during summer 2007, (2)LA Mercedes-Benz fashion week during fall 2008, (3) I was chosen head coordinator of CSULB’s highly anticipated annual student-run fashion show by the fashion dept – 2011-2012, (4) I studied the fundamentals of Paris fashion abroad in Paris, France during summer 2011, (5) Currently I’m on JCPenney’s summer commercials & mailers (2012).

[Check her out in the opening scene!]

Honestly, how do you find time to pursue a career in the biz and stay grounded?

Sabrina: How I juggle school & a social life is all about prioritizing and time management. Luckily, I have a fun major that pushes you to network & usually attend social events that I would typically rather be apart of anyways, therefore my social life hardly ever distracts me from school. It’s my personal life that normally does distract me, but by utilizing my university resources such as the university Recreation Center, psychologist &/or library, these things help me not only relieve additional stress, but makes it easier to actually WANT to have more than class to attend. I don’t do projects & homework at home, its too easy to get comfortable & fall asleep.

Let you have it your way, what’s your ultimate dream, or speaking it into existence, your future reality?

Sabrina: My dream is to make it within the industry as a well known model, television personality or actress because I know I have the confidence, talent, drive & ambition to go far. However, my ultimate goal is to have a following. To become credible, or relevant, in order to impact many people & their lives. To place faith & hope into the hearts of the youth & to help empower a lot of our women. I want to travel the world & embrace cultures & traditions. I have a passion to entertain, but been told I “carry a heart of gold”, & with that heart, I don’t care who I work with, as long as I leave a gracious imprint – my work is done.

I’m so proud of her, and I wish her the best in everything she sets her mind to! A role-”model” to say the least ;)
